There are only a few things that matter in life, and pasta is one of them.

We believe food brings people together in a way nothing else does. Our world needs simple moments, like a pasta dinner, to remind us what actually matters.

We love people. We love making new friends. And we don't think being an adult means you stop making them. We couldn't find a fun way to meet new people, so we started our own dining club. And while we're at it, we want it to mean something.

Wait, the dinner is actually included?+

Yes. Your $49 covers the whole three-course dinner: family-style salad, fresh pasta, and dessert. No cover charge, no per-plate cost, no surprise bill at the end. Drinks are the only thing you pay for separately, so order a glass of wine if the night calls for it.

How often do I get a table?+

Once a month, on whichever Wednesday you pick.

How do I pick my Wednesday?+

You reserve in advance for the month. Seats are limited, so it's first come, first served.

Can I try it out?+

Yes. You can sign up for one Wednesday only to start. The price is the same, since we have hard costs to cover for every meal served. After your first dinner, you'll have the option to make it a monthly thing. Our policy is cancel anytime, no questions asked. We only want members who want to keep supporting our movement.

Who makes the pasta?+

We source it from one of the best local pasta shops in San Diego, a place that only uses the finest ingredients.

What about dietary restrictions?+

Tell us when you reserve. We keep a gluten-free pasta and a vegetarian sauce available at every dinner.

Where does it happen?+

A local restaurant in San Diego, every Wednesday. We send you the address when you reserve your night.

Can I bring a group of friends?+

Our intention is to get strangers meeting each other. So as much as we love a pasta party, One Bowl is focused on bringing new people together every week. We promise you'll meet some cool ones, the kind who sign up for a pasta party with strangers.

Can I bring a guest?+

Yes. You get one guest pass every month. Your guest pays $39 for their meal, same as you.

What if the dining club is full?+

We're limited by the restaurant's capacity, so once a night is full it's full. When someone drops off, that seat opens back up and goes to the next person booking. That's also why our membership has a hard limit. So don't overthink it, join now if you can.

Is this happening in other cities?+

We're starting in our hometown, but we hope to expand to other cities soon after. We imagine a world where pasta community dinners are the norm everywhere. 🙂 Not in San Diego? Tell us where you are and we'll come find you.
